Today I participated in a lawnmower race.I came in second place.That is all.
Your family must have the most interesting funerary traditions I've ever encountered. Did you get a medal? A ribbon? A pony? A pony would make a good second-place prize, I think.

It was a ride-on lawnmower. Much more exciting than a push mower! All I got was Waller-family bragging rights. Which is actually pretty awesome.
I am a bit disapointed that you did not even mention your grandfather Hugh. That is what the trip was for.
